If you do not already have FileZilla, you can download it here.

1. Open the FileZilla program.
2. Go to "Edit --> Settings".

   

3. Under the "Connection" section, select "Firewall settings." Uncheck the option "Passive Mode" (as highlighted in red). Hit "OK".

   

4. Under the main menu toolbar, go to "File --> Site Manager..."

   

5. In the new window, click the "New Site" button.
6. Fill out the name to be yourdomainname.com or whatever title you would like to give the setting.
7. Under "Site details", fill out the following:
   Host: yourdomainname.com
   Servertype: FTP
   Logontype: Normal
   User: yourdomainnamecom
   Password: yourpassword

   

8. Hit the "Connect" button.
